Unless you go out on a limb you'll never fly

A man once told me that people have a certain set of rules and they don't get mad until one of them is broken. Everyones rules are different. This can be very enlightening to examine reactions and their initiations in people but I think that if we stay in those rules there can be no expansion. Unless you go out on a limb you'll never fly. Unless we step out of what is natural and normal we can't know what is possible.

Ya, your right.

So while rereading that last bit I wrote on the last post I relized another rule. Learn to say "Ya, your right." and move on. I learned this from a man who is wiser than he knows. It goes with the hill to die on thing because sometimes it's not worth the fight. Sometimes it's much better to let them think they win and move ahead to more important things.

My First 10

OK peoples of the internet. Here I am and here I go. I decided that I need to write out rules/laws of life to live by and I was told to share them so here I go with my first 10 in no particular order.

1. The law of witnesses: The probability and number of witnesses is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act. (If what your doing looks/is dumb, it's likely someone is watching.)

2. Life is not fair: you will get beaten down more than you get raised up (or so it seems)

3. Thou shalt chill, for it will be OK. People relax a little life's not fair, as I've said, but not everything/everyone is out to get you and besides when things go wrong 99.9% of the time it will pass and I'll take those odds any day.

4. Pick your hills to die on carefully. It takes 2 to have a conflict so before becoming involved ask yourself. Will this matter in 2 days? A month? A year? Decide what fight is really worth your time.

5. Any problem that can be solved with money isn't really a problem. Ya, there it is.

6. Those who know, do not speak. Those who speak, do not know. or sort of along the same lines a closed mouth gathers no feet. (That's some wisdom there but what really should be bothering ya is "should I really be listening to this guy? I mean he just said that those who speak don't know and yet he goes on?)

7. Learn to improvise, cause plans never go 100%. No matter how well you prepare it won't be perfect.

8. Take the crap jobs so that you know what you don't want to do. Most of these jobs actually will be crap but some turn out to kinda cool.

9. Life is not about me. The sooner you accept this the sooner you can move past the fact that people aren't under your control. People aren't looking to please you 24/7, when your sad others can be happy, the world would not collapse if you weren't here.

10. If you woke up breathing in the morning congratulations you get another chance. That being said there is no reset button, no extra lives, and you will 'fail' at one thing or another but the good thing is that the game will usually continue regardless and you can fix mistakes.

I should say that I stole several of these off of other people.

So your probably asking who's this kid to tell me how to live life? He's not even an adult yet. Well I'm here to say "your right". I'm not 100% but I'm just spouting things I've witnessed to be true. Any addendums, corrections, additions are welcome. I'll probably just be adding 1 or 2 a time from now on but this is kinda fun so we'll see how it goes. Wow just reading this over I've realized it has almost zero flow but imma just gunna chill, cause it'll be OK.
